global leak reporting about mocha HOT 4 CLOSED

What exactly is a global variable leak? And how do you prevent it?

when you accidentally create a global variable, usually not something that is desired:

for (i = 0; i...

vs

for (var i = 0; ...

etc

oh okay, thanks, some libraries I'm using causes global variable leaks, I'll look into seeing what they are doing, hopefully they aren't manually attaching to global...

yeah it's pretty unlikely that they mean to, there are very few cases where you would want that
