May be we need something like jQuery.live to checkout dom update.

Hi MoOx, I was looking into that, but Google does a lot work regarding DOM, I don't want to make the content script busy for useless DOM changes. Maybe we can control that. Currently, I am using Chrome Extensions API to monitor different HTML5 Push API states, but that is not sufficient. We should definitely look into jQuery.live, but instead of pulling in a jQuery dependency we should pull in the code instead.

Yep ! jQuery is too huge for a small addon :)

If you ship the extension with jQuery, it wouldn't matter how "huge" the code is, right?
