Impossible to tell with details you posted. What is your server (SignalR version etc.)? Where are you running it (localhost, remote server, cloud)? Do you have any interesting server logs? Maybe show some code.
Admittedly the client currently does not have good diagnostics (or to be more precise any diagnostics - tracked as a checkbox here: #1) but as a last resort you should be able to debug it quite easily.

Closing since the issue does not contain sufficient information to be able to investigate further. (Maybe you are trying to use this client to connect to non-Asp.NET Core version of SignalR (e.g. SignalR 2.2.x)?).
