We should also take into account what the global optimizer will need: we'll want to surface info like the min and max possible score of a ranker function. It's not strictly necessary for rankers to be able to return multiple facts. The same result is achieveable by interposing a (private Symbol?) type, and it simplifies the language. Also, to my knowledge, no one has used that capability yet. For the record, the kinds of yankers I foresee are maxes, clusterings, outliers, and thresholds.
