newlines get removed sometimes about clipster HOT 2 CLOSED

tr -d '\n' - this strips all new lines from the output - I'm guessing that you just want to remove the final one that rofi adds.

I think this might work - but haven't tested it fully:

sed -ze 's/\n$//'

(It makes sed split lines on \0, which we know there aren't any of, since rofi has consumed them. Thus it treats the whole thing as a single line, and only strips the last newline. Or something 😃

For info, I may now have a solution in mind for #41 - I'll be trying to implement that soon, so if that works it might give you an alternative option.
