here is two screenshots that are explain situation. If no for 1.5, that is ok, i might just ask you place of code diff to manually edit myself in 1.5 src when you fix it in 1.6 :).
Eloraam`s lamps tiles are rendering in distance even more than optifine exetreme distance render option could allow.
