I'll try running with output = cout and see if it works - we don't need the log file as Docker captures the output anyway.

That fixed it - no errors -
$ docker logs agent
Configuration search path: "/data/agent" and "/usr/local/bin"
MTConnect Agent Version 2.0.0.12 (_RC23) - built on Thu Nov 3 04:48:14 2022

No, I haven't had a chance yet - next time will try logging to /var/log. But for now setting output=cout solved the issue, so will close this. Thanks
