Unable to exit the display awake state about coffee HOT 8 CLOSED

Do you use alternate mode or the usual one? Does the notification disappear when you toggle Coffee the second time?

I do use alternate mode. Previous coffee releases didn't worked with my device. The notification disappears but the auto screen off is still at 30 minutes, which is the maximum selectable screen timeout on my device.

Do you see a toast with "Coffee couldn't set the previous timeout" when stopping Coffee?

I don't see any toast. Nothing. It silently does nothing.

@frasty Are you using RUI or a custom ROM?

Can you stop Coffee, reset the system screen timeout manually and then try it again? Coffee remembers the current screen timeout and will set it again when stopped.

Alternate mode should only be used if standard mode isn't working. When standard mode is working for you, that's the way to go.
