Why do you need to perform multiple mode updates with setMode in a component? Could you provide your use case for this?

I think All setters should support callbacks. Adding this feature ensures callbacks receive the latest state, reducing errors and improving predictability.

@cipherlogs, based on the code here, it seems unnecessary because it already utilizes React's setState updater function internally.
