Is it not possible to add a behaviour to a custom element ?

I am not sure why this does not work. However, it doesn't seem related to angular as such - it appears to be a more general BPMN.IO question.

Yes it is a bpmn.io problem, but none of the other projects seemed to approximate to my requirements.
Your solution nearly makes it except setting a custom function on click of the button.

It seems like CustomPaletteProvider can't access to elementFactory.

In CustomPalette.js elementFactory is included in constructor.

I just checked that we can include elementFactory in the constructor, see commit ea066dc
from angular-bpmn.
