Re z rendering: tried combining neurons into a single Line3DCollection
. Turns out that within a collection, z order is determined by order of addition. On the other hand, using a single collection for each segment is correctly rendered but incredibly slow. For now, will probably keep using one collection per neuron.

Re improving depth colouring: a86924d implemented a better version of getting distance from camera.
