Honestly, I would just add a toggle to the patient summary screen.

It gets really difficult when all the information is presented on one screen. Doctors are more prone to making errors since they might in a hurry look at a past visit note and treat it as a current visit note by mistake. Too much information on one screen increases medical errors. So this is definitely a need to have. We have over 2 months until our next deployment so there is ample time to implement this.
