UltiSnips should work on neovim when I'm done with the compatibility layer, here is my current task queue:

• Fix/test the API to merge neovim/neovim#737
• Add a simple/generic mechanism plugins can be notified about events. It will probably be something like this
• Implement the compatibility layer
• Add notification about redraws
• Implement a lua client for writing tests using the new API

After the notification mechanism is added(second task on the list), neovim-specific plugins can be written. The compatibility layer will be built on top this notification mechanism(there will be a special "eval" notification which will be used to emulate the current python << command)
