Possibly achievable purely through Python logging module, using something like https://github.com/CiCiUi/django-db-logger for the Django database case.

Probably we want structured logging of some sort (debug(adapter="NetBox", model="device", uid="nyc-spine01", message="No change required") rather than free-text logging (debug("No change required for %s %s", model, uid)).
Note that per the SOT Sync design spec, a Django SyncLogEntry has at least the fields status, model, unique_id, and message, so any logging design at least needs to be able to disambiguate these parameters.
