2.7.1 checklist about nut HOT 11 CLOSED

Arnaud: do we want to merge the bcmxcp, voltronic-driver and powercom-instant-commands branches? I think they're pretty localized, but I haven't checked for stray files.

agreed, I've updated the tasks list.
I'm currently looking at powercom-instant-commands (update: done).
NEWS and UPGRADING are also underway.

Update on voltronic-driver branch:

• voltronic_ser.c and voltronic_usb.c have not diverged enough from the master (blazer-{ser,usb}.c) to be worth a new implementation (cypress subdrv, default cable power, no lang fix) => for future improvement
• voltronic.c: "god.knows" variables (extra status fields) to be adapted (unknown.1,2,3) ; not much to add ( @aquette to clarify this Qx variation Vs Innova Q5, for latter consideration)
• no compilation warning

Conclusion: good to merge, but need to log a bug for future improvements.

sorry, the "for future improvement" was not bold enough.
I didn't wanted to delay further the release, nor to evict voltronic from it.
So it's really good to merge, but with a know and mandatory todo.
Note that it's really limited to the communication layer (_ser and _usb). The Q1 (more a Q5) idiom is completely new and different.
@clepple: if you can / want to handle the merge (including the "god knows") please be my guest.
I still have the bcmxcp review, and the pure release process... and not enough time / energy :-/
btw, I've asked to my "Q1" contact if he knows something about the "voltronic" variation.
