Hey, sorry for not responding earlier. I didn't see the notification. I've just been looking into openlayers and also leaflet. I would love to have the flexibility of swapping out google maps for open street maps.
Do you have think one is better than the other for this (open layers vs. leaflet)?

For this app, i would prefer leaflet, OpenLayers is a bit heavy.

I spent the afternoon reviewing the two and I decided to go with leaflet. My goal is to be able to choose between google maps and open street maps but only changing a couple of lines of code. Looks like leaflet will do that nicely
