You should easily be able to mock out Backbone.sync. You don't need to test Backbone.Sync itself, as that is covered by its own tests.

Good point, I didn't think of that. Then all I'd need is a localStorage mock, which is easy.

I'm investigating solutions for caching locally and ran across your project. I like the concept but would love to see the test suite. Along with this thread, I've seen a few places where tests are mentioned. Where are they now? Thanks!

The project this is based on (Backbone.localStorage) does have a testsuite, but at least when I forked it it was broken.

Since I no longer use Backbone.dualStorage, there are no tests in, and I'm unlikely to write any. Feel free to fork the project and write some :)
