This seems to be an issue on your device side. Check if you can connect to the device from nRF Connect or another apps.

I have tried nRF Connect and ST BLE Mesh as well, both are also not able to connect. I have also tried to run the iPad app on my Macbook without result. As soon as I try to connect using an Android it connects within 5 seconds. My teacher uses a iPhone SE (the first one) and for him it does work. I have tried iPhone 12 mini, X, and a 13 as well. I will close the issue as I will continue my project using my classmate's OnePlus phone for testing. Thank you for the help.
