@desaintmartin I'm not a big user of either tool. Can you give me a bit more context on what you are doing and what you think the solution is?

I am not able to reproduce the problem with the sources, when creating the egg with "python setup.py sdist" or "python setup.py bdist".
Anyway creating from the sources issues a few warnings, so it may be wrong again:
warning: no files found matching 'websockify'
warning: no files found matching 'include'
I'll create a small pull request to solve this.

Is it possible to (re)release a version containing the fix to pypi?
