Interesting. The SIZE property of the BITMAPBUTTON custom gui is a CUSTOMTYPE_LONG parameter, yet it expects two elements when the resource is parsed. I just hope it isn't handled special by Cinema 4D's resource parser.

98ea085 fixes the parse error by handling the BITMAPBUTTON SIZE parameter specially. However, the SIZE parameter doesn't actually seem to have any real effect if it's non-zero.. (?)
