No autocompletion in vim, and gocode status return connection refused about gocode HOT 4 CLOSED

It may happen if server crashed in a very weird way. Just delete the socket manually and try again. The unix socket is "/tmp/acrserver.nfa" in your case.

I found this problem today, when I try to upgrade gocode package. So, is it possible to remove that file automatically by gocode itself?

Yes, I'll do something about it, eventually. There are two things that are planned:

1. Gocode client should check gocode server version, if they don't match, shutdown server and restart it.
2. If there is a socket file, but gocode client cannot open a connection, it should delete it and try again.

Can't say when it will be ready. I'm a bit busy working on Go support for waf build system.
