Not possible to implement interpolate1D() reliably in HLSL. SSTS needs it to work and output transforms needs SSTS. This rules out both Output Transforms and SSTS from being implemented—and as well prevents any related output transforms from being implemented, which includes all P3, DCDM and Rec.2020 output transforms; or more broadly, anything that uses ACESlib.OutputTransforms or ACESlib.SSTS.
