I am having the same issue. I used the PIP install on Fedora 21 and everything installed without errors, In the RH pluging window I am not seeing the Google Plugin. I would love some clues on how to resolve.

The port works - awesome - thnx @ZwS ! To make it work, I needed to load gmusicapi directly from github, as python3 does not come with urlparse anymore, The following line did it for me...

sudo pip3 install git+https://github.com/simon-weber/gmusicapi#egg=gmusicapi --upgrade

Also had to manually copy the plugin
from /usr/lib/rhythmbox/plugins to /usr/lib64/rhythmbox/plugins on my fedora 23, like discussed #13.

Actually there only googleplaymusic.plugin in the plugin folder

@Kengur8, can you start rhythmbox from the command line and post the output you get when activating the plugin? Also, helpful might be

• version of rhythmbox
• linux distribution and version

@l-ray I managed to enable plugin but the preferences are disabled. Neither the button nor menu option works.

@Kengur8: Same here, not sure what happened. The login data is stored in GnomeKeyring:

Not sure if you can just add that manually via seahorse, or if the rythmbox gmusic preferences menu needs to get up running again somehow.
