You cannot lazy load this plugin.
Okay, I have updated my configuration (above) to load it immediately, I believe. The issue remains the same. I will also mention this is essentially the same way LazyVim is loading this, so I'm confused how this has ever worked, and just became an issue recently. I assume others will trickle in at some point with the same issue, even though it is closed.

Actually I have just run, using the configuration from the wiki with the only addition of the markdown parsers:
init.lua
require("lazy").setup({{
"nvim-treesitter/nvim-treesitter",
build = ":TSUpdate",
config = function ()
local configs = require("nvim-treesitter.configs")
configs.setup({
ensure_installed = { "c", "lua", "vim", "vimdoc", "query", "elixir", "heex", "javascript", "html" },
sync_install = false,
highlight = { enable = true },
indent = { enable = true },
})
end
}})
The issue is still present.

I'm unclear what the cause was, but I tried the setup at several commits over the past few months and the issue remained, but I finally just deleted the ~/.local/share/nvim/lazy/nvim-treesitter/
, and let it reinstall, and now I can't recreate the issue at all. 🤯 Cool I guess.
