The options you are using have not been used by bfgminer or cgminer in a long time. I'm assuming you are using an older version of bfgminer that works with those settings? Hard to say really. Make sure you've installed the drivers linked to in the middle of http://multiminerapp.com.

To be clear there are no arguments at all to add to bfgminer, cgminer, or MultiMiner on their current versions to support the Block Erupters. Just install the correct drivers.

Ah ic. I have the drivers but it appears I'm using an older version of them (I was an early adopter). I just updated them and tried again. Still didn't work. Then I tried a different pool, it worked. So it appears it was a pool issue, not the software. I'm gonna back track and see why the pool is rejecting my connection. I must have the host wrong or something.
Anyway thanks for the speedy help!
