Ok so as I was playing around with other modules in multi company context, I see this being a recurring theme. I went ahead and made a PoC for a base_multi_company module including a deactivation mixer following a similar plan as to what I laid out here - #39.

I will leave this open still though because it's not implemented where we need it yet.
