I haven't seen this exact issue but I've had similar trouble adding a public key. I suspect that there may be something wrong with how POST bodies are handled. I'm hoping to investigate a little further today.

Are you still experiencing this? I can't reproduce it now, it seems to have been resolved with 0.6.3
