Yeap, nobody will be able to install using the .deb provided in the homepage.

Additionally, the instructions to add the repositories are missing the su requirement, so, based in my version (12.04) this should be:

sudo su
echo 'deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:olav-st/xUbuntu_12.04/ /' >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/screencloud.list 
wget -O - http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:olav-st/xUbuntu_12.04/Release.key | apt-key add -
apt-get update
apt-get install screencloud

Why not simply add it to Ubuntu Software Center? There is 13.04 version but not 13.10 !!

@yahyaerturan It's available on Software Center (at least, on 12.04 LTS, the version I use), but you cannot install it due the missing dependencies.

I'm waiting for a reply from Canonical on this. I included the required dependencies in the last update, but they might not have uploaded them to the ppa.

Are you able to install the new version (1.1.3)? It has fewer dependencies, so it should be easier to install.

Hi Olav, I try to install in Lubuntu 14.10 but I don't have libquazip0 I have libquazip1 .. how can I do install it? I need recompile the packed?

Have you tried the 14.10 package from here? http://software.opensuse.org/download.html?project=home%3Aolav-st&package=screencloud
