If you're using version 1.1.2 ( currently waiting for review in the software centre) you can set the icon from the command line: /opt/screencloud/screencloud.sh --icon-color=black
There are 3 different icons bundled in the executable. ScreenCloud will also check your theme for icons named "screencloud-idle" and "screencloud-uploading" and use them if it finds any.

Cool thanks. I'm on 1.1.0 right now but will just hold off on 1.1.2. I tried downloading the new deb file and installing but I'm getting dependency errors and using apt-get install -f doesn't seem to fix them. I should probably get back to work rather than messing with icon themes anyway. Thanks though!!

You're probably missing libqtsingleapplication since it's not in the standard repo. See issue: #8

That works perfectly. I even modified the entry in startup applications and I am now passing in the --icon-color option so that it shows up correctly on boot.

All is now well in the world again. Thanks!
