Hi Djcd,
We don't have any experience with Bower, but if you want to make one and submit a pull request, we can pull it in. Otherwise, we can add it to our (short) list of feature requests.

So we took a shot at the Bower stuff today, if you run 'bower install sip.js#0.5.0+bower' you will get the intended distributables. Running it without the specified tag will give you the 0.5.0 tagged release, which was done before we had a bower.json file and probably isn't what's intended from Bower.
We may get that sorted out, but for future tagged releases Bower should work as expected without the tag (so, 'bower install sip.js'). I'm sure we'll document this somewhere, but that can wait the night I think.
