@xauthulei I can see how this is a little confusing, but it is working as designed. Since ./deploy-mgmt-hub.sh -S shuts down the open-horizon management hub components, the edge node needs to be unregistered first (because it doesn't make sense to have a registered edge node when its management hub isn't running).
Then when you start the mgmt hub again using ./deploy-mgmt-hub.sh -s then only way we could register the edge node automatically is if we had saved all of the registration parameters in a file. But we don't know that's what the user wants to do. There can be a lot of reasons why the user will stop the mgmt hub and then start it again at a later time.
If you are satisfied with this response, please close this issue. Thx.
