Now that the classic parser speed has been improved by much, it is very hard for the SAT parser to compete with it.
Some of the improvements implemented for speeding up the classic parser can be implemented also for the SAT parser. Additional special improvements can be done there, for example I successfully used the power_prune()
function o the classic parser (as is) to prune the SAT parser expressions (a significant speedup). But still I cannot see how to implement the tracon idea and the the connector-word caching there (these ones are responsible for most of the recent speedup of the classic parser). I also have additional ideas which I don't see for now how to apply to the SAT parser.
So I'm closing this issue.
