Is this still a problem in the latest version of the codebase?

Does edx even have full-screen? The most I can do is full-page (the browser, etc. is still there. It's very annoying)

@BlueRaja edX video player currently does not force browser fullscreen mode. The video player can go to "full page" mode when you press the "Fill browser" button. If you want to achieve fullscreen effect, click on "Fill browser" button, followed by F11 key (default key for Chrome and Firefox to make the browser go to fullscreen mode).

@JoeMartis Regarding the original issue. Currently edX video player, when brought to "full page" mode, does not get its right side covered by transcripts when they are turned on.
