if unpack file used patches directory not working about openelec.tv HOT 4 CLOSED

Ok you show me the right way :) but don't you think is weird when unpack used patches not apply?

there must think about the order:

• extract
• rename PKG_BUILD (not much needed, but sometimes usefull)
• patch
• script after patching
• build
• install

the rename script i have added some weeks ago, the order from the other scripts has historical reasons. but i know, our buildsystem is limited for some thinks, and i think about a new one. but you maybe know, thats a big task, to create a better one (and maybe it will be not so easy like now). closing this now, please post in our forum for a discussion or ideas about this.

Just some information I want to share about new build system you want to work. Did you check OpenBricks? It is very similar OpenELEC but you can configure system with menuconfig. And really very good documented.
