You're right, its technically not a weapon. However, damage calculation for a monk character would be heavily based on Jiujutsu, and several kata's, Advantages, and Skill powers, as well as some Kiho's have the ability to modify someone's Jiujutsu attack and damage. Because it doesn't remain constant, it would be good I feel to have at least the base DR in the Weapon database, and then ideally to have it calculate the DR Total based on any Advantages, Kata's, Skills, or Kiho's that may modify that number.
So, since the option would be to have an entirely different section for "Unarmed" or to add "Jiujutsu" to the weapon list, I figured adding it to weapons would be easier.

I support the idea.
Basically, I see this software as a tool for both GM and player to use both on and off sessions. As such, the player should have the option to use "check boxes" or "buttons" to indicate the effects he has on him at any given time, and the software should make all the right adjustments to the character's statistics to reflect all the mentioned effects, including changes to the damage, attack roll, armour TN and more.
For example: A shugenja may have several spells on him, some kiho, and use a stance at the same time. all of those may change the character's statistics significantly.
Even more that that a shugenja may cast spells of other character, affecting their statistics as well... (probably hard to create in the software, yet something to think about, maybe with a section called "temporary adjustments")

I've attached a patch that will allow Jiujutsu as a weapon skill, and unarmed as the 0k1 weapon under it. I've done some preparatory work to incorporate things like stone hands and jiujutsu mastery abilities when that's enabled.
