Obviously you cannot remove "learned" spells, can you?

"by the book" no, you may not "unlearn" spells. but, my point of view of RPGs is that everything is possible. if the character meets a great Kami or gains an unusual gift from the gods, I wouldn't want the player to build his character from scratch.
