The logic is at
and only note reports and vandal reports for users go direct to DWG.That said I will move other reports to DWG if necessary but as I have no idea which reports exactly you think have "gone missing" I can't say exactly what happened to them.

Whether a report goes to the moderators (aka DWG) or the administrators (mostly me) will depend on what options are chosen when the report is made.
There are no automatic acknowledgements for any reports at all - if a report goes to DWG then they might open a ticket in OTRS and that might send an acknowledgement.
Anything which is handed by me will not receive any response unless I need more information.

I guess the first four options (spam/offensive/threats/vandal) go to DWG and the fifth option (other) goes to administrators?
I often choose "other" because vandal is an overstatment most of times (maybe is just a mapper in good faith which is not responsive to changeset comments because email is broken ecc.). But if this is the way to reach DWG I will start using the "vandal" option.

I wrote a new ticket using the "This user is a vandal" option this time, March 9 around 13:30 GMT+1. I got no automatic replies nor manual replies so far.
For example I saw that this user is only two days old and already blocked: https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/Land%20Owner
I still don't understand if my reports via website are not delivered or if I'm being ignored. I read in another issue that it can happen:
The are a couple of exceptions to this - some reports can just be ignored (e.g. obviously not in good faith)
but I don't think is my case.

I don't see anything in the moderators' queue, but as Tom explained above we don't automatically get every ticket automatically. If you reported the user as a vandal and someone else reported them as something else, it'll be in the admins' queue until it is (if appropriate) thrown over the fence to us.
If you really want to contact the DWG you could just email [email protected] . That'll get added as a ticket automatically and you'll get the ticket number by return of email. We can't guarantee that you'll get a response from a human immediately, but any replies to that mail will go on the same ticket.

Yes you reported that user as vandal but other people reported them in other categories which led to it being in the admin queue. I have now moved it to the moderator queue.

@ivanbranco ... and for completeness, I can now see it in the moderators' queue.
