To render the codeBlock component, you must define a custom serializer first:

def code_block_serializer(node: dict, context: Optional[Block]):
    # define the logic here
    return f'<code>node['text']</code>

Then iclude your serializer like this:

renderer = PortableTextRenderer(
    ...,
    custom_serializers={'code': code_block_serializer}
)
output = renderer.render()
