Improve calendar UI about apps HOT 6 CLOSED

What’s the status on this by the way? For next version, or ready for ownCloud 5? Looking forward to the new UI!

We decided to postpone the new version, because there are still a lot of regressions to the previous version.

I would like to make some more suggestions:

• In the "popup" of an event, do not only show the date+time, but additional info too. Ability to create settings for it would be even better.
  • Whose calendar the event is in
  • Location
  • Description (maybe shortened)
  • Categories
• Create the ability to choose wich calendars you want to see in an overview.
• Use the calendar colors in the list.
• Ability to view or filter an overview from categories used in events.

@DjSlash Yes, we’re on it.

One of the main things is simplifying though, so creating additional settings for anything will only happen if it’s really crucial. Also Calendar vs Categories is interesting, Google Calendar for instance doesn’t even use Categories.

The other suggestions sound good, and most of them we’re already aware of. Please contribute if you can, I’m sure @georgehrke wouldn’t mind pull requests.
