@karlitschek yes, it was, but it didn't work.
It was renamed to 'Share' as Jan suggested. Currently it works exactly as sharing in Files and appears on toolbar only if the current user has sharing permissions on the document he is editing.

I'm adding public links support currently so the editor can be opened by not logged in user to start customizing share afterwards.

Right now logged in users can invite each other using the URL they see in editor mode like
http://domain/owncloud/index.php/apps/documents#102

this link is accessible in editor for any user having permissions to read this file, not for the owner only.

@karlitschek it's possible now to use 'Share' button for invitations. Sharing with link and emailing link works.
