The issue is with the script itself finding out the path. Since NPM creates a symlink from the node_modules/.bin directory to the actual bin with in the package's folder, the $SELFDIR variable returns the directory of the .bin directory, and not of the package's directory.
I've fixed this by finding out the real path of the script, even with a symlink, which then points to the right ruby package under the lib directory. pact-foundation/pact-mock_service#24
