Release version: 404 errors about rphylopic HOT 4 CLOSED

Hi @bschilder, thanks for reaching out! The PhyloPic API was recently overhauled, and so the old version of this package no longer works (as you've noticed). @LewisAJones and I have taken over maintenance of the package and have redesigned it to work with the new API and to be more streamlined in functionality. We are planning to push the new version (1.0.0) to CRAN by the end of the week (perhaps today if we get a chance).

Unfortunately, most of the function names have changed as have some of the required arguments, but hopefully it shouldn't be too much work for you to update orthogene accordingly. The documentation is all up-to-date here: http://rphylopic.palaeoverse.org/.

Please let us know if you have any questions, and we'll be sure to ping you as soon as the package is available on CRAN.

Awesome, thanks so much for being on top of this! I suspected it was probably an API issue, so it's nice to hear it's a known thing.

No problem about changing function names, totally understand that's necessary sometimes. I really only use it one function atm anyways, so should be any easy fix indeed:
