updating terminus (0.13.2) to the latest version (0.13.6) then running "terminus composer update --site=sitename --env=dev" fixed the problem, I was able to install D8. Then I ran into similar error when I pushed code to master. Do we suppose to cut the code above the line? if yes, that should be indicated on your documentation.
