I believe https://docs.paradedb.com/search/full-text/bm25#efficient-filtering would work
from paradedb.
We also just completed work in #876 to expose more of the power of Tantivy's query interface to Postgres. This will allow you to compose together queries.
Nearly all of Tantivy's queries are implemented, but one of the notable omissions is the Range query, which is likely most relevant to you. If you look through #876, you'll see that Range is mostly implemented, but not yet exposed to Postgres. It needs more testing before we consider it ready to go. I would be happy to support if you wanted to take that on.
In the meantime, you should be able to use the syntax that @rebasedming suggested. You can pass a query string directly to the search
function, or you can use the query builder interface we just released:
