I installed paralus in the same version and configuration on another test cluster. Let's call it paralus2. And so on paralus2 the ADMIN_READ_ONLY role works correctly.
What is the difference between paralus1 and paralus2?
Gaitlab OIDC provider is configured on paralus1, 2 clusters are connected and custom roles are configured.
I still don't understand why ADMIN_READ_ONLY role doesn't work on paralus1.

@mslga I just gave it a try and admin read only users work as expected.
If you can eloborate your installation / configuration of paralus one instance where it was not working, we can further analyze the issue.

@mslga Not sure exactly what is going wrong in this case. Feel free to share if you've more information of your failing Paralus setup.

Unfortunately I can't share the configuration as I had to delete the test server where the error was detected.
I really appreciate your attention to this problem, but it was not possible to repeat the error on a new server, so I think we can close this issue
