I'm Phil, a Software/Machine Learning Engineer living in Austin, Texas, currently working for Radformation.

My passion is translating Medical Physics and Radiation Oncology research into the clinic. My research interests include Medical Image Analysis and Artificial Intelligence, in particular auto-segmentation of medical images.

I'm co-creator of PlatiPy, a toolkit for medical image analysis in Python. I also co-created PyDicer which allows researchers to streamline the conversion and analysis of Radiotherapy DICOM data. I'm also currently a maintainer of the fantastic pymedphys project!
