Hi @banks. Apologies for not responding sooner.
Given that Crc32Hasher returns an int already, I'm happy to go with your second option and require that all returned values are addressable integers.
It looks like @kojik1010 has already started this, so I will take a look at #14 now.

Oh I just realized I should change the comments in HasherInterface to reflect the new requirement that all returned values should be addressable integers. Sorry for the spam!
