The Big WHY?

We are building AMI so that:
Type of User: Researchers working in various domain of subject area______________________
can: mine the literature corpus_____________
without: much skills and efforts required for TDM or NLP. _________

Goals:
Describe the Challenge, the solution we will bring, and the Desired End State by which all will know we have achieved excellence.

  • A. Foremost addressed challenge in TDM is accuracy of literature search and extraction of information.
  • B. Automated tool to download scientific articles, building dictionaries for search terms and performing query search.
  • C. CProject of downloaded articles and cooccurrence of search terms ( results as per each paper and entire corpus).

Desired Results:
A clear and concise description / outline of the final "state or vision" of the project — the evidence we will see when our goals are achieved.

  • A. Accurate article downloaded for the search terms (XML, html, pdf, scholarly html).
  • B. Wikifactmine dictionaries.
  • C. Cooccurrence of search terms.

Guiding principles:
What principles will guide our decisions as we do our part to fulfill the mission?

  • A. Consistency.
  • B. Collective effort.
  • C. Daily accomplishment of set goal.

Massive Action Steps:
What massive actions will generate the Desired Results?

  • A. Strategy to mine the desired task.
  • B. Accurate dictionaries.
  • C. Compilation of search results.
