yes, add a if

let statHandler = (stat) => {
  if (allStates.hasOwnProperty(stat.data.id)) {
    stat.open = allStates[stat.data.id]
    return stat
  }
}
<Tree :statHandler="your_statHandler" />

from he-tree.

you can store all 'open' state by your node id before leave,

let allStates = {}
for (const stat of this.$refs.tree.statsFlat) {
  allStates[stat.data.id] = stat.open
}

then use prop statHandler to handle stat when tree init.

let statHandler = (stat) => {
  stat.open = allStates[stat.data.id]
  return stat
}

from he-tree.

Thanks. Where does statHandler get called? Do I add it as a prop to the main component ?
