ssl:handshake/3 was introduced in OTP 21. Unfortunately before OTP 20.1 if a compile nowarn_deprecated_function attribute is used before the deprecation occurs it results in a warning. Therefore we don't want to use that attribute as we'll get warnings and haven't moved to the function.
We can use meta-programming to decide which to use, or even lookup the version at run time. Its also possible to use apply(:ssl, :ssl_accept, args) to avoid the warning - with a todo comment I think it is simplest solution.
